IT Careers in Pakistan
This guide compares nine IT careers that people in Pakistan can start from a course, and gives each the same seven answers: who it suits, the skills it needs, how long the learning takes, the usual first job, what that job pays according to a named source, how the career progresses, and which course to start with.
Pay figures are read from BvLogic Academy's salary pages, each with its source and date. Learning time is the length of our own programmes, which is not the same as the time to a first job: employers in Pakistan ask to see work you have built.

Which IT career should I choose?
Start from the work you would enjoy doing every day, not from the highest salary on a list: the pay bands below overlap widely, and the spread inside one role is larger than the gap between roles.
If you are unsure, take the free career test. It asks about how you like to work and suggests a direction, with the free course that starts it.

Which IT career is easiest to start in Pakistan?

Do I need a degree for an IT job in Pakistan?
Many employers list one, but most test practical skill in interviews and assignments. A portfolio of real projects is what a course should leave you with.
How long does it take to get an IT job?
