What moves you up a band

How we read these figures

Each range is gross monthly pay from the source beside it, read on the date shown. Job sites report what their own users submit and the samples are small, so two sites can disagree about the same role and city; we show the sample size wherever the source states one, and we quote guides only where no survey exists. Treat every band as a range to negotiate within, not a promise. Figures older than 90 days are flagged to us for re-checking.
