Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This policy covers the bvlogic.academy website, the free courses, the career test and the admission and enquiry forms. The academy's mobile app has its own policy: BvLogic Academy app privacy policy.
Who is responsible
BvLogic Academy, operated by Birdview Logic (Private) Limited in Faisalabad, decides how this data is used. Contact details are at the end of this page.
What we collect, and why
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You send an enquiry or apply | The details you type: name, father's name, phone, email, gender, CNIC if you give it, the course you are interested in and your message, plus your IP address and the time. | To answer you and, if you enrol, to open your student record. The enquiry is emailed to our admissions inbox, kept as a backup record on our server and added to our admissions system. |
| You create a free account (BvLogic ID) | Name, email or phone, and a password, which is stored only as a one-way hash that nobody can read. | To save your progress in the free courses, record your quiz results and issue your certificate. |
| You complete a free course | Your name, the course and the date on the certificate. | Anyone holding the certificate code can check it on our site, so the verification page shows the name, course and date printed on that certificate. It shows nothing else about you. |
| You enrol on a paid programme | The student record described in the app privacy policy: identity and contact details, attendance, results, fee records and files you upload. | To run your course, keep your fee account and issue your completion letter. |
| You use the chat assistant on our home page | The messages you type in that conversation. | To answer your question. The messages are sent to Google's Gemini service, which generates the reply. Do not type CNIC numbers, passwords or other private details into the chat. |
| You browse the website | Pages visited, the page you came from, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address. | To understand which pages help people and to fix what does not. See "Analytics and cookies" below. |
Analytics and cookies
- Google Analytics runs on our home page and course pages and sets its own cookies. Google's use of that data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Our own page statistics record which pages are visited. They identify a visitor only by a one-way, salted hash of the IP address and browser, never by storing either, and they record nothing when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
- Necessary cookies keep you signed in and protect forms against forgery. The site also remembers small choices in your browser, such as the lesson language and the data-saving mode.
- Videos are YouTube players embedded in privacy-enhanced mode; YouTube's own policy applies when you play one.
Who can see your data
Academy staff see what their role requires; your teachers see the students in their classes; a parent or guardian account linked to a student sees that student's progress and fees. We do not sell or rent personal data and do not share it for advertising. We disclose it outside the academy only where the law requires it or where a body funding a course you joined (for example a government training scheme) requires its own records, and then only those records.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are in contact with you about admission. Student, academic and fee records are kept for as long as the academy needs them to verify certificates, answer funders and meet legal obligations. A free account and its progress are kept until you ask us to delete them; certificates already issued remain checkable unless you ask us to withdraw yours.
Security
The site and the academy's system are served only over encrypted HTTPS, data is held on a private server, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and changes to student and fee records are logged.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, or for it to be corrected.
- Ask for your free account, its progress and its certificate to be deleted.
- Ask us to stop contacting you about admission.
Send the request from the email or phone number we hold, so we can be sure it is you. Some records of paid programmes (fees, results) must be kept even after you leave; we will tell you which and why.
Children
Learners under 18 should have a parent or guardian's agreement before applying or creating an account. A guardian can contact us about a child's data at any time.
Changes and contact
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
