- Home businesses and shops in Pakistan selling, or planning to sell, online.
- Anyone choosing between Daraz, their own store and selling through social media.
- Learners heading to the paid E-Commerce course.
What the 6 lessons cover
- What e-commerce really is here. Three businesses: marketplace selling, your own store and social selling through Instagram and WhatsApp. E-commerce is a logistics and margin business; the website is the easy part.
- The numbers that decide everything. Work out one sale's margin after product, packaging, delivery, commission, payment cost, advertising and returns. Cash-on-delivery refusals cost the courier both ways, so confirm every order first.
- Product, sourcing and the listing that sells. Choose something consistent, light and sturdy with room for delivery cost, source from markets or local manufacturers, always order a sample, and photograph the real item.
- Getting orders: traffic, ads and the first hundred sales. Marketplace search, paid ads judged by cost per order, and organic and owned channels such as a WhatsApp buyer list. Treat the first hundred orders as a test.
- Operations: orders, couriers, returns and service. Confirm, pack, book, send tracking and follow up; test two couriers on remittance speed and delivery success, keep inventory honest and write a returns policy you follow.
- Growing, and what the paid course adds. Watch margin per order, refusal rate, cost per order, repeat purchase rate and cash. Sell more to existing buyers first, register with an NTN and keep a separate business bank account.
