Course lab
Graded lab A store that takes a test order, measured against a marketplace Open the lab →Who this course is for
- Sellers in Pakistan who want a store of their own instead of renting buyers from a marketplace.
- Instagram and WhatsApp sellers ready for a proper store and checkout.
- Anyone considering the paid Shopify course.
What the 6 lessons cover
- Owning versus renting your customers. A marketplace rents you buyers; your own store is cheap to run and expensive to fill. Shopify removes the technical work, but the real budget is stock, photography and advertising.
- Setting the store up properly. Products with inventory quantities, variants, collections only when needed, a fast free theme judged on a phone, and trust pages: About, contact with a phone and WhatsApp, shipping and returns.
- Payments and cash on delivery in Pakistan. Check gateway availability yourself, dispatch bank transfers only once the money is in your account, and offer cash on delivery with confirmation by phone or WhatsApp and a small prepayment discount.
- The store that converts. Mobile speed first, then a product page that states delivery cost, a short guest checkout, recovery of abandoned carts and one change at a time measured by conversion rate.
- Getting traffic to a store nobody knows. Paid social for the first sales, organic content from day one, search over time and an owned list of past buyers. Check an influencer's engagement and give them a unique discount code.
- Running the store, and the road on. A weekly rhythm and the numbers that tell a traffic problem from a store problem; raise order value before buying traffic, review the app bill, and be wary of dropshipping from Pakistan.
