- Earning from an audience without a product. You earn a commission when people buy through your link. It needs an audience and about a year of consistent work, and it works best answering buying questions.
- Choosing what to promote. A subject you can write about for two years where people buy things, recurring commissions over one-off ones, a decent cookie window, and only products you have used.
- Content that produces commissions. Target buying-intent searches with comparisons and honest reviews that include the negatives and who a product is not for, with your own screenshots.
- Getting traffic. Search and YouTube bring buyers for years, email is the audience nobody can take away, Pinterest suits visual niches, and social and paid ads rarely pay.
