Curriculum
1. What marketing is actually doing
33 hoursThe thinking clients pay for, underneath the posting.
-
The five questions every business needs answered
Who exactly, what are they really buying, where is their attention, what proof do they need, what is the one next step.
-
The funnel as a diagnostic
hands on
Not a diagram to draw, a way to find where you are losing people instead of guessing.
-
Owned, earned and paid
Why almost every business here neglects the most valuable of the three.
-
Marketing cannot fix a bad product
And the professional obligation to tell a client that early, in writing.
2. Audience and message
44 hoursResearch, positioning and copy.

Where generative AI genuinely speeds up copy, and the sameness trap that makes brands interchangeable.
3. Search
43 hoursSEO that survives an algorithm update.
-
Crawling, indexing, ranking, in that order
hands on
Checking a page is even indexed before optimising it. Ten seconds that saves months.
-
Keyword research grounded in real demand
hands on
What people type, not what the business calls itself.
-
On-page and technical basics
hands on
Titles, structure, speed, mobile. Where the quick wins genuinely are.
-
Local SEO and Google Business Profile

Local search is how nearby customers find a shop or service, so for a business with an address it is often the first channel worth working on.
-
The link schemes that get clients penalised
Named explicitly, so you never sell one.
4. Paid advertising
54 hoursSpending someone else's money responsibly.
-
Meta Ads: structure, audiences and creative
hands on
Campaign, ad set, ad, and what actually belongs at each level.
-
Google Ads: search intent and match types
hands on
Where the money leaks, and negative keywords as a first-day habit.
-
Budgets, bidding and testing
hands on
Running a fair test instead of changing five things at once.
-
Landing pages and the click that goes nowhere
hands on
The most common waste in Pakistani ad accounts.
-
Ad policies and getting an account restored
What gets accounts banned, and the practical route back.
5. AI in the marketing workflow
43 hoursWhere it genuinely saves hours, and where it costs you a client.
-
Content systems, not one-off prompts
hands on
Building a repeatable brief a whole team can run.
-
Creative and image generation for campaigns
hands on
Fast mockups and variants, with the limits stated.
-
Automating reporting and enquiry handling
hands on
Lead capture into a CRM, first-response automation, and the human handover point.
-
Disclosure, likeness and brand safety
What must be declared, and why an undisclosed synthetic endorsement is not recoverable.
6. Measurement: the part that pays your salary
43 hoursTelling a business whether its money did anything.
-
Analytics and conversion tracking set up correctly
hands on
Most accounts measure the wrong thing; this is how to check.
-
The four numbers that matter
hands on
Cost per lead, conversion rate, customer acquisition cost, return on ad spend. Calculated by hand until they are second nature.
-
Attribution, honestly
What you can and cannot claim credit for.
-
The client report
hands on
A one-page report a shop owner understands, including the month it went badly.
Projects you will build
Don't graduate with only a certificate. Graduate with evidence.
Every project is a real piece of work, checked by your trainer against acceptance criteria fixed before you start: Mini project → Mid-course project → Capstone → Portfolio publication → Employer-ready project.
1. Mini project: Build a month of content that a person can run
about 18 hoursNot thirty posts. A system that produces thirty posts.
What you hand in
- The calendar.
- The templates.
- Two weeks of published results.
2. Mid-course project: Run a real campaign with real money
about 26 hoursA small budget, spent, measured and accounted for.
What you hand in
- Screenshots of the campaign and its settings.
- The tracking setup.
- A one-page result report with the arithmetic.
3. Capstone: Run a business's marketing for six weeks and report
about 50 hoursA plan agreed with a real business, run across search, social and ads for six weeks, and reported with every figure's source.
What you hand in
- The agreed plan.
- The tracking test.
- The weekly log.
- The report.
- The owner's response.
4. Portfolio publication
Once your trainer verifies your mid-course project or capstone, you choose whether it appears on your Learning Passport, with the trainer's name and the date it was verified.
5. Employer-ready project
A verified capstone shown on your Learning Passport. An employer can open the work and check who signed it off.
Projects
Live campaign for a real client · 5 weeks
Plan, run and report a real campaign for a real business, with a real budget agreed in advance. Marked on the reasoning and the reporting, not on whether the numbers were good.
AI-assisted content system
A documented, transferable content system for one brand, proven by someone else running it successfully.
Assessment
A final assessment marked out of 100; the pass mark is 50, with 90 minutes to complete it.
- Strategy and audience (20 marks)
- Search: technical and on-page (20 marks)
- Paid advertising, including a budget scenario (25 marks)
- Measurement: calculating the four numbers (25 marks)
- Responsible AI use and disclosure (10 marks)
Credential
A completion letter is issued to a student who has met the completion criteria AND has at least one project verified by their trainer. Meeting the 50/100 pass mark alone earns a record of completion, not a certificate: the certificate says a trainer examined finished work and stands behind it, which is the whole reason an employer can check it. Every letter carries a verification code and is checkable at /verify-letter, and it states attendance, assessment result and the project titles verified.
