Read what each lesson covers
- Whose responsibility is what. The provider secures the infrastructure and you secure what you put on it. Nearly every public cloud breach was the customer's half, usually a configuration error.
- Identity and access. Identity is the perimeter: leave the root account alone, put multi-factor authentication on every human, grant least privilege and avoid long-lived keys.
- Data and network. Block public storage access at account level, encrypt at rest and in transit, know where your data lives, and keep networks private by default.
- Configuration and automation. Prevent mistakes with reviewed infrastructure as code scanned before it is applied, organisation policies that cannot be overridden, drift detection, image and dependency scanning, and checks that run on every change.
- Cost, compliance and responding. Budget alerts double as breach alarms, read data-residency clauses before signing, keep logs, and practise the response before an incident.
Who this course is for
- Developers and system administrators moving applications to AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- IT staff responsible for a company's cloud accounts.
- Security learners who want the cloud side of the field.
Using this in Pakistan
- Indeed's range for security analysts in Pakistan is Rs 31,834 to 112,351 a month, based on only three reported salaries, so treat it as a rough guide. Source
- Entry security roles advertised in September 2026 were in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi rather than Faisalabad; even a Lahore SOC L1 internship required a Wazuh certification. Source
