Three items listed for real, priced through the full fee stack

The situation

From Pakistan, find something overseas buyers search for, map every hop your money takes on the way back to a Pakistani bank, research three candidates on SOLD listings and reject one, build one complete listing with honest photographs and real shipping quotes, and list your first three items at prices that survive every fee. Then sell three and write down what surprised you.

What you'll be able to show

  • Find sourceable products with high overseas prices and few sellers
  • Price through the full fee, shipping and conversion stack
  • Research with SOLD listings and reject on the numbers
  • List honestly, ship realistically, and record margin from the first sale

What you need

  • An eBay account and its SOLD listings filter
  • Quotes from Pakistan Post and one commercial courier
  • A spreadsheet for the money map and the cost-and-margin record

Tasks

  1. 1Five sourceable things
List five items you could genuinely source in Pakistan that overseas buyers search for. For each, search eBay: price range foreign sellers charge, how many are selling. Mark where price is high and sellers are few.
A correct result: Five rows with price range and seller count; the candidates marked.
  2. 2The money map
Write which payout route you will use, the percentage lost at each hop from buyer to your Pakistani bank, and the total. Price one candidate so that after every fee, shipping and conversion you still hold the margin you intended.
A correct result: A hop-by-hop table with a total, and one price with its margin arithmetic.
  3. 3Three candidates on SOLD listings
For three candidates: how many sold in the last month, price range, where sellers ship from, your landed cost including shipping to the buyer. Reject at least one on the numbers. Order a sample of the survivor.
A correct result: Three research sheets, one rejection with its numbers, a sample ordered.
  4. 4One complete listing
Ten photographs including flaw close-ups and a scale shot, a full-length keyword title from eBay's own search suggestions, every applicable item specific filled, and a description answering the eight questions a distant buyer has — including that it ships from Pakistan and how long that takes.
A correct result: A listing draft with ten photos and all eight questions answered.
  5. 5Real shipping
Weigh and measure the packed item. Get quotes from Pakistan Post and at least one commercial courier to the US and the UK. Set the shipping charge and handling time from those numbers. Write your standard delayed-parcel message before you need it.
A correct result: Four real quotes, the shipping settings, and the delay message.
  6. 6List three, sell three, learn
List your first three items at prices that survive the full fee stack, with honest photographs and shipping times. Set up the cost-and-margin record before the first sale. After three sales, write what surprised you.
A correct result: Three live listings, a margin record, and the surprises list after three sales (or the honest status if fewer sold in the lab window).
